Express lane
I went to Whole Foods today to buy a cinnamon-raisin bagel. They have the neat slicer there and a bowl of room-temperature butter packets. I took a bite as I walked to the express lane. The “mellow” was running rampant at the checkout and I was actually able to eat my entire bagel before it was my turn to pay. I said, “one bagel”, put my 4 quarters down and left. I’m going to start shoplifting there…I know it.
